First Class…..World Class Event….. Excellent, Moving, Mesmerizing are just some of the comments received about our 2nd Annual Conference/Retreat for A World Alliance of Interfaith Clergy that was held Friday Oct 16, 2009 to Sunday Oct 18, 2009 at the Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center located in historic Litchfield, CT.
     Our retreat was officially designated as a Pre-Parliamentary Event by the Council of the Parliament of World Religions. The Parliament of World Religions is the largest event of Inter-religious exchange, and was just held in Melbourne, Australia in December '09. To learn more about the Parliament's history and the event itself visit their website, www.cpwr.org. The theme of the Parliament was "Make a World of Difference: Hearing each other, Healing the Earth." A World Alliance of Interfaith Clergy used this theme to help guide our Retreat in October. Our theme for the conference was, “What is Interfaith? Spiritual Activism: Interfaith as a 21st Century Faith Path."
