Bio

I spent 25 years in Africa and the Middle East supporting women and children in distress. Those experiences led me to seek interfaith studies, and I was ordained as an interfaith minister in June 2006 by the New Seminary at St. John the Divine Cathedral in NYC. Subsequently I completed 4 units of CPE at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. From that experience I sought specialized training in hospice and palliative care and was hired in June 2007 as a chaplain by Vitas Hospice Care, where I continue to support individuals and families during their end-of-life journey. I am a grandmother of five, photographer, single-engine pilot, and I love spending time outdoors with nature!
